Our cozy gathering will take place at ERC Institute Vietnam, located at 88, Huynh Van Banh, ward 15, Phu Nhuan district, HCMC. Please mark this day on your calendar for a night full of insights and sharing: Thursday, August 18th, 2011, starting from 6pm to 9pm.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxMekong, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxMekong event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

About TEDxMekong 2011

The program will focus on discovering different perspectives relating to the topic “Entrepreneurship in Vietnam”. Sharing the same spirit of “Ideas worth spreading” from TED, TEDxMekong team has invited speakers who not only have the ability to deliver their own unique ideas from their standpoints but also to inspire the participants, rather than just plainly dispatch their knowledge. Although our speakers come from a wide range of backgrounds with different age, experience and viewpoints, they all share the same purpose of providing the audience with objective and comprehensive perspectives about entrepreneurship in Vietnam.
